The show was fun, funny and the story was great. The Actors kept me engaged the
entire time. The only down side was that it ended. Great Job to all.
I had never seen the movie so I went in fresh and with little idea of the entire story
line but I was quickly pulled into the story and the characters lives and personalities.
Thank you to the cast and crew for keeping everything moving and keeping it feeling
authentic.

NEED MORE FEMALE VOICES
I loved the show but found the plethora of male songs too much.
I needed more variety. Ms. Bell was incredible! Can Ms. Rae sing?
I'd change it up a bit. Thanks

MORALLY UNPLEASANT, ORDINARY ACTING, FORGETTABLE MUSIC
My daughter and I didn't care for the show at all.
First, the show itself: racism is a key component and the main character's life is saved--but he doesn't even address the immorality of what his friends were doing when they died.
Acting: Sonny was amazing, Lorenzo was good, C was solid. Other actors were just okay--and the boy C was very weak
Music: The music was forgettable. I left the show without one single song running through my head.
I can't recommend this show
This is really not a musical play to be staged in Memorial Hall. We had floor tickets and could barely see through the thicket of heads in front of us, especially as action went from left to right (and these weren't cheap seats). The story itself was somewhat average and uninspiring, cleaving to moral lessons and cliches that smacked of another more supposedly innocent era. I did not feel moved by the music, as most of it was a version of the same song (not a lot of imagination/creativity with different instrumentation or melody lines). It was the artistic equivalent of cafeteria food, not necessarily bad, but very bland, and unable to really stir emotion. I fell asleep several times while watching it, because it the story did not hold my attention or offer any chance of surprises. I have watched the film by Chazz Palmienteri, which is excellent. It just doesn't translate well to a musical. The grim and gritty is not good fodder for the light and airy treatment this got.

STEREOTYPICALLY DISTURBING
Maybe it"s just me. I am an american born, who grew up in a 100 percent Sicilian family. The characters were portrayed as ignorant, low class thugs, speaking in street slang. Everybody seemed to be quite amused and laughing AT them. I found it to be very insulting. Like I said, maybe it's just me.
This is not just any old tale, this is A Bronx Tale, and it is wonderful!
Chazz Palminteri, you know that guy - he's been in over 55 movies, he's friends with Robert De Niro, taken a stab at directing some top TV shows. Yes Chazz - the guy who looks like a God Father replica but you'd still want to hang out with him all day an
